Unicat4 field trials began in the UK in 2000. Significant improvements were experienced in the reduction of smoke across all vehicles ranging from a brand new Claas Lexion 450 combine harvester to a six year old Land Rover Discovery. The smoke reduction on the engines with no environmental control measures was a clear indication that unburned hydrocarbon emissions were being slashed. Measuring fuel economy in the works vehicles saw improvements of 7-8% over two years, and it was clear this product was justifying its usage by paying for itself again and again. |
